The President threatens tariffs up to 25% on Mexican imports

Starting June 10 Mexico and U.S. lawmakers need to take steps to stop illegal immigration into the United States. Otherwise, the President threatens to increase tariffs up to 25% on Mexican imports.

If tariffs are imposed, the trucking industry will notice a hit according to the American Trucking Associations Chief Economist Bob Costello. About 32,000 US truckers move freight across the Southern border. This estimates to around $1.1 billion worth of cargo per day.
