Migrant checkpoint in Mexico affects cargo truck wait times

Mexican freight transporters are challenged by wait times up to three hours at the anti-immigration checkpoint in Ciudad Juarez.

This affects up to 750 trucks daily that transport goods from Mexico to the U.S. and can cause delays in arrival times.

The new controls are one way to control migrant floods. President Trump gives Mexico 45 days to come up with a solution to control these floods.
