International Bridge aims to speed up trade between the U.S. and Mexico

New $30 million infrastructure projects will begin in Texas soon. The projects aim at the border crossing for transportation of goods such as oil, natural gas or avocados.

The International Bridge connects Reynosa, Tamaulipas with Hidalgo County, Texas.

Additional commercial entrances and exits for trucks moving freight from Mexico to the United States will be built.

The commercial bridge generates about $13 million a year in revenue according to FreightWaves.
