Entry-level driver training

The FMCSA demanded new requirements for the entry-level driver training.

The new program for drivers who want to obtain the commercial driver license starts in February 2020.

In fact, minimum standards for CDL schools will be set on federal level. Furthermore, instructors need to have two years of driving experience and a medical certification for the classroom.

Moreover, there will be 31 theory course topics overseen by the DOT. To read more on the entry-level driver training, go to FleetOwner.
