California fines Anheuser-Busch for violating air pollution laws

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) fined Anheuser-Busch with $500,000 for violation air pollution laws. The brewing company agreed to pay the fine.

However, the brewing company failed to inspect 19 diesel trucks and update to meet smoke emission standards.

The company released a statement saying that they will bring the vehicles into compliance and oversee diesel smoke inspections.

Moreover, the paid money will be used to support state’s research on air pollution and a community forestry project.
